You hide from yourself
Behind promises of Heaven and Hell
You erase, based on these foundations, until fears comes lurking in
Insecurity and agony, a collateral effect
From the world you help to built
Then you are lost and alone, without a home
Then you look up and you….Pray
Beg for your God
To make it all go away

While you are feeding yourself with synthetic light
While you just serve and obey, and ask to be saved,
Giving up of all your pride
You never realize, that you are a…..Prey
You believe anything they say

You fight any war
You follow any law
You sell your soul
Because all the plastic you feast on
Is no longer enough
And so you feel confused, sometimes abused
You see your entire world made of dreams, falling apart
You feel weak, you feel sick, you get desperate
Then you look up and you….Pray
Beg for your God
To send the savior
To rescue you

Then you…Pray
Placebo to heal your wounds
You pray
But it never goes away

You serve and obey
You nullify yourself, becoming so easy to slay
Giving up of all your life
You never realize, that you are a….Prey
Enslaved, trapped in jars of clay
