That Disgusting Old Trap

There was a reason for the skies to be so open wide
But they were unable to realize
I see right through your disguise
Just another starry eyed surprise
A lethal drug, I almost died
The perfect portrait, it just faded,
There was nothing left of it
So I rdealized, it was just poison in disguise
All this time

Yes, in the end it's right
The fault is of the stars
But we also choose, we always choose anyway
They just sell the lies, that we buy
And if you open your eyes while there's still time,
You just walk waya, and say goodbye

Why die, why die for a lie?
Why live, why live for a lie?

Those who find out, will be the only ones to try
To dare, knowing there is no reason to care
By overcoming fear, and getting near,
To the gate, so out of reach,
Unless even without wings, you still find out
How to fly

I see right through the glass now,
Third eye open wide,
As the skies often are,
So they can show, all they have to sell,
To the new fools,
A whole brand new, generation of tools,
Buying hell, working to build, their own prison cell,
So naive and innocent like we all once were, drinking the entire bottle of poison,
Fooled by the sweet smell, of hell,
Soon they too will be in despair, and they will not know, that they should not care
They will be doomed, all those who choose to not choose,
That choose to not dare
They will be forever trapped, on this destiny's lair,
Forever in hell, not even knowing, that
They were the ones who built their own prison cell
